Happy July.

Seeing as this is the first day of July, i'd like to make a new journal.

As you know, i am a major avatar fan. I don't have any deviations of said fandom because, frankly, i need to work on them first.

Anyways, Avatar starts the first day of the last of the Third season in 14 days, seeing as how lim writing this at 1 in the morning. And lemme tell you, i'm exited. Anyone else.

So, in celebration of this occasion, i will start to work on a picture that mirrors (somewhat) my joy. Hopefully it won't suck. Hopefully i finish it.


So anyways, Yeah.

I just wanna make a May Journal.

Okay, so. July is just beyond the horizon. Of course, before that is a horde of May worms fighting off the June Hawks, so we'll just wait till one of the mkills the other, then we'll engage the enemy. The there's a gentle slope up the hill there... no telling what's behind it, but after that is the Horizon, which is hiding our new episodes of Avatar.

Oh and, there have been some comics and meme's of Avatar that use the word "Pedophile" to describe... oh, i dunno... Katara. Reall any relationship that includes Aang or Toph, cuz they're 12. Well, i belive, and would like to believe i know for a fact, they these people are using this incorrectly. Well, i was wondering what your usage of the word would be.

Anyways, i'm here for my checkup, just in case anyone cares.

Ok, so, first order of Business, my game reviews. Keep in mind i review these games as i finally get and/or play them.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Awesome game, gotta tell ya. 35 characters, 42(?) stages, 32 levels of Subspace Emissary, tons upon tons of things to collect... but, it can get old. With the very slight slow down, the seeming bulkyness of the characters, and the stuff that can kill you when you respawn... it's only more awesome than Melee. SSB: Melee was more fun.

It's really something i can't put my finger on, so don't read to much into it. What i wrote up there, that's just kinda what it's like.

Anyways, don't wanna go into too much detail. Game gets an A.


Dead Rising

Awesome too, totally. As reporter Frank West, you head by Helicopter to the (unfortunatley fictional) nowhere town of Willamette, Colorado where there is a big scoop to... um, scoop. Around the center of town, you chopper is chased down by the Army, so you jump onto the nearest shopping mall where you run into Antonio Banderes who welcomes you to hell. You head down to the entrance and this scary onld lady kill everyone by moving the barricade from the doors... to get her dog.... Well, you're at the back of the room, so you gotta fight your way back to the stairs. You then meet Ving Rhames, Renee Zellweger, and the Janitor. From the on, you have 72 hours till your chopper comes back, and you can do whatever you want till then. Have fun.

I did! There's a storyline, about 10 bosses, tons of survivors to save, and billions of zombies to kill. Then there's the billions of weapons to do it with. Frizbies, CD's, Soda cans, zombie hands, a machete, bowling balls, motorcycling down the halls. You can kill them with a fish, even kill them with a dish! I will kill them with a box, with my gox in yellow socks! From Plaza to Plaza, from here to there, weapon items are everywhere! Game gets an A.


Devil May Cry 4

This is a great batch of games, it looks like. In this one, you play as Nero, who many people (including me) believe to be Dante's son. I mean, how could he not? Anyway, You head to church to catch your girlfriends performance, getting there just in time, and be awesome as the old priest comes to the alter.. looking thing... He starts talking about Sparda and how he's so great, then BAM! Dante jumps through the sunroof and shoots him in the face. Everyone goes into a panic and the gaurds fail to his awesomeness, and when spots Kyrie on the ground, you kick him in the face. She runs away, you start fighting, all that jazz. You throw trashtalk back and forth, he jumps through the sunroof again, you set out on your journey.

The fighting is the same as it's always been, and i wouldn't have it any other way. Well, some great new fighting engine would be cool, but this one is how DMC should be, and i like it. Hack, slash, jump, and Devil-Bring your way to victory against the starndard enemies, the higher ups, the mini bosses, and the real Bosses with your trusty motorcycle sword and your double barreld revolver. Stylish ranks give you points at the end of each mission, you buy new moves with the new item, Proud Souls, and get your standard Recovery items and life extenders with the Red Orbs. Only bad thing is the lack of enemy variety, Nero not getting new weapons, and those damned Proud Souls.

But this game loves clevage! A


Okay, so i've recently gotten back in touch with my old friend Aang, and i've just been having a blast. Running from Zuko, saving civilians, meeting wierdos, defending the North Pole, meeting Toph, running from Azula, running from the Dai Li, being disguised as Fire Nation troops, being disguised as Fire Nation civilians, scamming scammers, running from Combustion Man, invading the Fire Nation capital, being distracted by Azula, failing our mission, running away some more, rejecting *SPOILER*, being blown up, accepting *SPOILER*, waiting till they got back from "going fishing", not laughing at *SPOILER*'s jokes, going to *SPOILER* with *SPOILER* and Sokka, watching *SPOILER* help us *SPOILER?*, coming back from *SPOILER* with *SPOILER*, Sokka, *SPOILER*, *SPOILER*, and some wierd guy, and now that we've done all that, i'm not having a blast. Because we're finished, no, because we hafto wait till JULY 14 FOR NEW EPISODES!

Reason for all the spoilers is cuz i dont know how many people have seen episodes 12-15

We can do it! We can survive! Just barely, But WE CAN! Avatards, UNITE!!!

Ok, so on March 8th, there's gonna be this great Midnight Release awesomeness, but GameStop is having a tournament starting that night at 9.

It will be Brawl, 1 min., 1 stock... and probably not all the characters... there might be a couple unlocked after a few matches... like, 10. Of course, that's providing the winner of that match is allowed to defeat it.

Then, if they're allowed, they might make the decision not to. You know, unless they're required.... Idunno, there's so many possibilities.

It will be a Brawl tournament "so nobody has an advantage."

Yeah.... How many people were at Ikkicon? How many people went to the past Anime/game conventions? How many people have imported it? How many people have modded or Japanese Wiis?

Alot. I mean, not alot, but considering how many people are entering the tourney, i'd say a good 40 have it, a good couple hundred have played it.

But anyways, i'm getting off topic.


I wanna know how many of you are entering. I am, and i'm going to Marth, provided he's unlocked. If not, Pit or Metaknight.

well, i had a nearly complete review of Soul Calibur Legends for the Wii, but i couldn't post it, so i copied and pasted it to wordperfect to reset my comp. Now that i have, i can't put it back on here so...

Long sory short, game gets an 8/10.
